Time has great importance in the life of human being. Humanity has always been anxious with time, the passage of time, the measurement of time, and the scientific qualities of time. Allah Most High is transcendent above any quality of His creation, including existing within time or space, as that would entail being limited. Imam Tahawi states in his well-known creed, "Contrary to all created things, He is well exalted above The Qur'an openly states many times that Allah is the best of l-mākirīna, a word sometimes mildly translated as planners, though also as schemers or plotters. The Arabic word used here is "ماكر" "maakir", coming from the root m-k-r م-ك-ر, with the word Makr "مكر" primarily meaning to practice deceit or guile or circumvention. [1] ad-Dahr is THE Time and not time how we perceive it. Waqt/Zaman is the creation of Allah that you're referring to, and it's relative to how we measure it. You can probably say ad-Dahr is what controls waqt/zaman. Allah is the most perfect of planners. Ibn al-Qayyim said, "Whoever reflects upon this issue deeply will realise that having the best expectations from Allah is equivalent to having good deeds, and doing good with one's soul. For only when a person expects the best from Allah will he perform good deeds, since he will expect that Allah will reward him for his deeds and accept them.
